Arlington Residential Internet Coverage

Throughout the city of Arlington, internet customers can choose from an array of internet service providers of different speeds and service areas. Widely available services include fiber, cable, DSL, and satellite.

Verizon Fios is one of the largest fiber providers in the United States; its fiber network covers all of Arlington, as well as several outlying communities. Verizon internet is also available to homes and businesses anywhere in Arlington.

Those who choose Xfinity for their cable provider can benefit from a large service area that spans most of eastern and central Arlington. Service stops short of some western areas, including Boulevard Manor, Glen Carlyn, and Columbia Heights.

Those living on the outer fringe of Arlington generally have access to internet through RCN. Coverage is not widely available in central areas of the city. Excluded neighborhoods include Donaldson Run, Old Diminion, and Waverly Hills.

XO Communications and Megapath both have a competitive presence in Arlington, offering coverage that includes all of Arlington and stretches to outer communities and suburbs.

With a smaller coverage area in the north central part of Arlington, Atlantic Broadband is available in Rock Spring and Williamsburg.

I have had Comcast for years. The raise my bill periodically and give better rates to new customers. I always have to call up and threaten to switch in order to get a better rate. Every. Single. Year.

The internet stop working at least once a day. I'll either have to unplug the router, call in to customer service to have a signal reset, or both.
