I have never left comments on a company before, but AT&T deserves 15th His. Avoid AT&T!! I agreed to fiber optic internet service. The first person to come was to lay the line and dug up my yard. Next person to come was supposed to connect the line. He told me the first guy did not run the line properly with too little line and that he would have to rerun the line and dug p even more of my yard. The third person came to actually bring the equipment and connect my computer. Seemed everything might be settling down. WRONG! From the start the service was intermittent. I got "you are not connected to WiFi service" constantly. I called tech desk who constantly had me do a random series of things: turn my computer off and on, turn the modem off and on, turn the WPS switch off and on, unplug the modem, they would reset the modem from their end, and STILL it would lose connectivity. I finally called back to tech, and was transferred to Connectech, who tried to sell me a program that for $15/mo for their assistance or an annual fee of $100-some odd dollars per year. I said why would I want to pay for that when it was their service that had been bad from the very first day. They then said that they could send out a rep, but if he could not find a problem, there would be a charge. He DID find a problem. It was the WiFi modem, as everything became fine when he swapped it out and installed a new one. Then my bill came and they cg argued me...which was not supposed to happen if they found a problem. It took me another 7 hours, split between 2 days of calls to finally reaach someone who cared enough to have the charge removed. It seems the system is working well now, but I will give a huge amount of thought to re-upping any service when this contract is through.

both internet and cable have not worked for months (ever since we moved into the new house). cable freezes at the same time the internet goes out, happens about once every 30 minutes. there are outages here in the area (garner nc) just about daily, time warner trucks all over the place and they don't seem to have a clue what's causing it, nothing ever improves. just about ready to drop all services and start again with someone else. last rep i spoke to on the phone just about encouraged me to leave, they aren't even offering any suggestions at this point.

Overall I find Time Warner Cable to be reliable. Every company is going to have its ups and downs so keeping this in mind has my overall rating for Time Warner Cable to be above average. I give them an excellent rating when it comes to installation which in my eyes is second to none. When your fast installation is completed they have quality service follow up and make sure everything was done right and that you are happy with the work.
