Ontario Residential Internet Coverage

In the city of Ontario, many local and national internet service providers bring high-speed internet to homes and businesses.

Fiber internet is an extremely fast option that_s currently available from Frontier. Through Frontier, fiber service is available in most areas west of Ballou. Currently, service is limited in eastern Ontario.

Its counterpart, Frontier Communications has a similar service area that covers slightly more of eastern Ontario.

AT&T is a major provider of DSL and fiber internet service in Ontario. They offer coverage to the western city limits of Ontario in areas near Elderberry Avenue. The service map runs through central Ontario, reaching the eastern neighborhoods of Champagne and Deercreek Loop.

Through Time Warner Cable, those in western and northern Ontario can choose cable internet. The coverage area stops short of Pomona Freeway in the southeast.

Time Warner_s competition Charter is another large service provider with an established service area in Ontario. Service is available in the far northwestern corners of the city, as well as southeastern neighborhoods like Champagne, Haven Avenue, and Deercreek Loop.

New Edge Networks has an expansive network that reaches almost all of Ontario, excluding a small area running through central Ontario.

The internet service is fast and reliable. Their business policies are highly questionable as they are all about maximum profit. They charge for the entire month of service regardless of when actual service ends and because it is a disclaimer in the monthly statement, they may or may not tell you this when changing your service. They do not pro-rate or provide credits. One would think that a company of Spectrums size with a monopoly in some areas they would want to do right by their customer but that just isn’t the case. Greed drives business these days.

Spectrum has really high prices for service that cuts off from time to time. Internet service has increased to $80 monthly which is ridiculous.
