Have spent a week trying to get a legacy dvr box. Several calls to customer service gave me wrong information. Stores had no boxes, when I was told they did. Reservations not accepted at stores, with no phone numbers available. Checking out AT&T now.

Spectrum and other internet providers service, speed, and reliability are all area based. The speed in my area is unreliable and inconsistent. Trying to get honest technical support is horrendous. Iā€™m paying for 400 mb/s internet and I clocked my internet speeds between 19.6 mb/s and 475 mb/s and packet loss from 0% - 18%. Make sure you are getting what you pay for because they donā€™t disclose that information not even on your bill or when you speak to customer service.

I switched at the beginning of the pandemic. Its been a year and I still lose connection multiple times a week, and spectrum has no clue what is happening. They have no clue and are impossible to get ahold of an actual person. Left AT & T because of poor customer service and Spectrum started digging to go below that bar that was previously set. Absolutely terrible looking for new providers as we speak
