Currently, Suffolk hold strong as the largest city in Virginia. For that reason, it's essential that businesses and homes have reliable access to high-speed internet.

One of the fastest options in Suffolk comes from Verizon. Verizon Fios is this company's fiber network, which offers extremely high speeds across much of the city. The network currently reaches some of the far eastern neighborhoods, including Whaley, Franklin Junction, and Magnolia. Service is also accessible in some parts of Crittenden and Eclipse.

Cox Communications, a nationally known internet service providers, brings consistent coverage to the people of Suffolk. Service extends well into the central part of the city, reaching Manning, Nurney, and Somerton.

One of the largest cable providers in Suffolk is Charter. Through Charter, nearly all of Suffolk's major neighborhoods can choose from a variety of high-speed plans. Covered neighborhoods include Chuckatuck, Myrtle, and Holland. Service extends beyond the northern and southern limits of the city.

Half of our smart devices cannot our home network. This includes our WIFI capable most notably our garage door opener and a Toshiba Notebook Computer. When trying to install the network manually the devices stop the process stating the Spectrum Home Network is not secure enough to proceed. Spectrum tried to help but could not recommend solution other than for us to contact the manufacturer for each device.
